Welcome to the website of the School of Fine Arts! We’re delighted that you’re interested in our programs. The School of Fine Arts enrolls over 650 undergraduate and graduate students in the Departments of Art & Art History, Dramatic Arts, and Music. Our programs offer world-class training in the fine and performing arts and their scholarship, all within the context of a major research university. We think this is the most effective environment to foster the creative, intellectual, and personal growth of our students and, in fact, many of our graduates have gone on to distinguished careers as performers, artists, scholars, arts administrators, and teachers.

The UConn Office of Admissions website also has essential information for prospective undergraduate students. Please feel free to visit us during the Fall or Spring Open House. If you are a current UConn student enrolled in ACES or another academic department, you must still pass the appropriate audition or portfolio review to be admitted to the School of Fine Arts.
